Food for Thought.

In today's society the convenience of things has left our human selves with ungratefulness.  No longer do we have to make our own clothes and  in turn cherish the threads that have woven each patch of cloth together.  We use disposable income and regard our selves as higher class because of not having to "work" for what we have. The convenience of using that income for an abundance of food is both a blessing and a curse.  No longer do we reap the benefits of seeds sewn by striving hands for survival.
The harvest really is an incredible happening-- seeds that were sewn have become nourishment to the body, peace to the mind and assurance to the soul. WHAT GREAT NOURISHMENT MOTHER NATURE HAS GIVEN US!! It comes with peace of human mind that I shall live to see another day. My soul is assured that my human can continue to be a vessel of light and love.  OUR DAILY BREAD IS A GIFT; but in today's society, food comes pre-packaged. Children eat and have little idea where it comes from, they have no idea that the wrapper they just "threw away" could make it into the belly of some beautiful creature.  They have no idea that the chemicals that were used to "clean" the house they live in, will someday contaminate the very water they are given to drink.

We must go forth with mindfulness that we are GIVEN OUR DAILY BREAD and we are EQUIPPED WITH TALENT TO PRESERVE the miracles around us in nature. Let us give thanks to those who invite us for dinner, for what ultimate act of divine soul it is to share our survival with others.

Our work allows us to be bread winners, having income to meet our needs and wants.  Let us not forget that the way we win our bread is important.  God calls us to our work and it is with great joy and purpose that we must fulfill this no matter how small or insignificant the task may seem.  There is meaning and there is purpose.  Find joy in your path and seek out the importance of ALL things, for all things are miracles and with God, all things are possible.
